Older leaves become pale green with beading of chlorophyll. Chlorosis and Necrosis of leaf margins, proceeding from leaf tip, can be seen in more severe cases. Plant growth is stunted. Easy to reveal by holding leaf to sunlight.

Better crop establishment. Improved winter hardiness and tillering. Better grain quality.
Magnesium deficiency Drought can also cause marginal necrosis.
