Symptom description
With Zinc undersupply the leaves show interveinal or uniform chlorosis. The marginal area of older leaves is often diffusely tinted bronze to orange. Stunted growth with small flowers and fruits. Root growth is not affected.
Made worst by
Organic soils. High pH soils. Soils rich in phosphorus. Soils receiving high phosphorus application. Cold wet conditions.
Important for
Improved crop development. Increased yield. Improved fruit quality.
