YaraTera MAGNITRA L
YaraTera MAGNITRA L (7% N + 10% MgO w/w) is a quality liquid nitrogen and magnesium fertiliser containing magnesium nitrate suitable for application through all fertigation systems for both soil and substrate cultivation.
YaraTera MAGNITRA is often used as an additional source of magnesium in both solid and liquid based fertigation systems.
Nitrate nitrogen
• Directly available for plant uptake, resulting in fast and predictable growth responses.
• None volatile nor adsorbed to soil particles, leaving it readily available to plants.
• The preferred nitrogen source for most horticultural and high value agricultural crops.
• Improves the plant uptake of the cations magnesium, potassium and calcium.
Magnesium essential for:
• Cation balance – high potassium levels in the plant or soil will reduce the efficiency of magnesium, reducing crop yields and quality.
• Other cations such as ammonium, calcium, hydrogen (low pH) and aluminium can also reduce the availability of magnesium.
• Photosynthesis – magnesium is a major component of chlorophyll, which is essential for photosynthesis.
Ammonia free
Magnesium nitrate is ideally suited for applications in hydroponics as it is free of ammonium.
Compatibility
Magnesium nitrate can be mixed with all water-soluble fertilisers, except concentrated phosphate solutions.
